Halloween Baking with Kids

Ingredients:

Cupcakes

100g Butter

150g Self Raising Flour

150g Caster Sugar

2 Eggs

1tsp Vanilla


Icing

100g Butter

225g Icing Sugar

1tsp vanilla extract

Drop of purple food colouring (you can choose what colours you like)

Orange sprinkles

Halloween sweets


Makes 12 cupcakes

Oven 180c/Fan 160c/Gas 4

Cook 25 minutes or until tester comes out clean


Method


Preheat oven

Put all cupcakes ingredients into a bowl and mix together, Fill cupcakes cases half way and place on middle shelf, Once cooked leave to cool. Once cooled start making you icing to do this with a electric whisk whip butter for a few minutes then add half the icing sugar, mix again then add the rest of the icing sugar mix until smooth. Once that is done add vanilla extract and food colouring one last mix still all nice and coloured.


Once all icing is done and cupcakes are cool.


Put icing sugar into a icing bag and pipe away. Don't forget to add the sprinkle's and sweets for decoration.

If you don't have a icing bag don't worry just apply with a palette knife.
