Old School Traybake

Sponge:

225g Butter

225g Caster Sugar

275g Self Raising Flour

2 Level tsp Baking Powder

4 Large Eggs

4 TBSP Milk


Topping:

200g Icing Sugar

4 TBSP Milk

Sprinkles


Cake tin needed 30x23cm tray


Method:

Pre heat oven to 180c/Fan 160c/Gas 4. Grease the tin and then line with baking paper.

Measure all the ingredients in a box and mix till well blended. Pour into the tray and bake for 35-40 minutes or untill cake has strunk from the sides and spings back when pressed in the middle. Leave to cool.

When cool you can then make the topping to do this you need to add the milk to the icing sugar and mix untill smooth, pour over the cake and then add the spinkles.


Leave to set for a few hours before cutting.
